On 7/5/16, I ordered several items, one being Acerbis Trifit hand guards for 2 of my dirt bikes. When the packaging arrived, I tried to mount them but the bar inserts would not fit the bikes. I called support and spoke to Drew for some assistance on 7/16.

He did not know how to help me as he was not familiar with the hand guards and did not have any that he could physically look at. I suggested I could do a video chat or take some pics and shoot them to him. He thought that was a great idea and gave me the email to contact him through and advised me to make it to his attention.

I got off the phone and took the pictures, put together the email, outlined everything, and sent it to him on the afternoon of 7/16. At this point, I was still happy as he seemed helpful and cared about my issue. This would be the last time to date that I would speak to Drew as he fell into the abyss of Nowheresville.

After not receiving any feedback, on 7/20, I contacted Acerbis support to advise of the issue. Within minutes (literally 10 minutes), I received a response back with the reason: Apparently, the hand guards come with hardware for aluminum bars.

This made sense as the bikes I have contain steel bars. He even located the part number I needed on Bikebandit's site (part number: 204189****). However, they recommended I ensure the part matches what is required as the image shown on Bikebandit's website did not look correct (they needed to look like the RALLY PROFLE/BRUSH/MINICROSS BAR INSERTS as shown on Acerbis' site).

Here is what I needed:

Note: Trustpilot does not like links so I replaced the "." in the URL with "[dot]" below.

Here is what was shown based on the product number Acerbis advised me of:

Based on this, I sent an email to Drew's attention (via the same email he provided) so that he could be updated with the latest information as well as confirm what I needed so I could place my order.

After sending this last email, I get an "automated" email to advise:

"...A tickets has been generated to help track your inquiry.

Your ticket number is: [TICKET NUMBER HERE]

Please use this ticket number in all future communications.

There is no need to send another email. Please wait for our response.

BikeBandit.com strives to provide the best customer support possible..."

I found it interesting that I never received an "automated" email when I sent the first communication, yet now I doโ€ฆ

I thought it was super nice how "There is no need to send another email. Please wait for our response." was bolded for my special attention.

After waiting several days, I decided to reach back out to Acerbis to see if I can just order the parts I need from them. What do you know? They had no issue providing me with exactly what I needed.

I was offended by the lack of respect Bikebandit support showed me. It should have taken them no more than a full business day to get back to me on my confirmation. Apparently, my time (and other's here as well) are not worth much to them.

Therefore, I sent them the following on 7/28:

"To those that gave BikeBandit a bad rep (especially you Drew),

I wanted to tell you that your customer service sucks. I was advised by Drew to make contact and provide the details that I did, only to not hear anything back. I follow ed up simply to ensure he (or anyone else involved) had the most updated information. I still never received a response until the below "automated" response.

Since that time, the nice folks at Acerbis have provided me what I need. They responded within minutes to help. I will order from them instead. I will also take my business to other sellers such as BTO, Motorsport and the like. It's unfortunate as I have 5 dirt bikes and ride with a great group of guys that buy often as we are always tinkering. I will ensure all my buddies and anyone they know are shown this email chain and it finds it way to social media.

I will ensure that no one I know or ride with ever shops at bike bandit. Your lack of service is what goes against everything great about the motorcycle community.

Go f--- yourself and your automated email."

Note: The above expletive is edited only due to Trustpilot's policies.

I am advising my buddies and plan to show/forward them the emails so they could be aware. We will ban them and ensure it works its way to others we ride with or come in contact with on the trails.

I read several of these reviews and shook my head as their stories were so similar to mine.

I am sure they do not care about disappointing a customer here or a customer there. However, if we ban together, we can ensure that they are more impacted.

Oh, and for those @ BikeBandit that may see this: You should regroup with why the heck you even do what you do because you go against everything good with riding and the comradery that I have come to know well as I ride with my buddies and meet people out on the roads and trails - take some classes on respect, common courtesy, and take extra heavy notes from your competition out there as they certainly school you in those areas. I question that you guys even rideโ€ฆ smh.

Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.
